Working with the Joint Engineering Societies Committee, NHSPE has developed a "NH Engineering Calendar" (calendar.nhjes.org) where all societies can post events. The intent is to have a single site where upcoming events for all societies are listed.

May 17, 2012The Ethical Dilemma of a Potential Catastrophe
William LeMessurier faced several unique design challenges for the 900 foot tall Citicorp Building in New York City. During this program we will examine how a series of subtle structural engineering and construction issues combined to create a potentially disastrous situation resulting in the ultimate dilemma that an engineer could face. We will examine the potential courses of action and their outcomes.
Mr. William LeMessurier, (1926 – 2007) was a prominent American structural engineer. We will be joined on this evening by his daughter, Ms. Irene LeMessurier Jenks of Peterborough, NH.
