We are pleased to announce the call for nominations for the annual Engineer and Young Engineer of the Year Awards, to be presented at the 2009 Engineers’ Week Awards Banquet.


The Engineer of the Year Award and Young Engineer of the Year Award are the highest awards given to individuals by the New Hampshire Engineering Societies. Each award is presented to an engineer who has made outstanding contributions to the engineering profession, the public welfare and humankind.

This award provides the New Hampshire engineering community the opportunity to recognize outstanding individuals worthy of these honors.

The following schedule summarizes the events leading to selection of the award recipients:

  • Friday, December 5, 2008 Select representative of your society to serve on the selection jury. Submit juror’s name and address, e-mail address, and daytime phone number
  • Monday, January 5, 2009 (by Noon) Submit 12 copies of the application packages for EOY/YEOY candidates
  • Wednesday, January 7, 2009 Application packages will be distributed to all jurors for review.
  • Friday, January 16, 2009 Jury meets. Tentative time and location is 3:30 PM at Hoyle, Tanner & Associates, 150 Dow Street in Manchester, NH.
  • Thursday, February 19, 2009 Engineers’ Week Awards Banquet
